Horses have unique dental needs.  Two hundred years ago, when the only power we had was horse power, and everyone depended daily on horses for some of the basics of life, we understood a lot more about our horses' basic needs than we do today.  Seems like we've forgotten a lot, especially about equine dentistry.  So let's get back to the basics and review the basic dental needs of horses.
